In 2010, ITU WSC-SET has hosted a symposium on Work-Family Balance and Gender Equality – A North-South Policy Perspective. At the symposium a series of research papers were presented on different OECD countries’ work-family balance policies and their impact of gender equality.

CAS & OWSD Fellowship Programs

According to a new agreement signed this year between the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS), up to 140 students/scholars per year from the developing world will be sponsored to travel to China for up to 4 years’ of PhD study/research.
