What is KAUM Library?

KAUM Library, created within ITU BMT KAUM, focuses on women's studies in science, engineering and technology; It has a rich resource in areas such as gender, equality policies, academic research, leadership, sustainability and social transformation.

Our library consisting of over 600 printed resources; It offers an interdisciplinary reference area for students, academics and researchers.

The main purpose of KAUM Library is:

  • To make the literature on women's studies in science and engineering visible,


  • To support academic production on gender equality,
  • To provide resources for research and project studies,
  • To create an accessible information space for ITU students and the academic community.

Our library is regularly updated and enriched with new publications.
