February 11 International Day of Women and Girls in Science, declared by the United Nations in 2015, is an important day to support gender equality in science and to make visible the contributions of women and girls to scientific progress.
👩🔬As ITU Science, Engineering and Technology Women's Research and Application Center (ITU BMT-KAUM), we continue to work to increase women's empowerment, equal opportunities and visibility in the world of science and technology. We emphasize the critical role of women in knowledge production and aim to inspire young girls to encourage them in the fields of science and engineering.
