EELISA - İTÜ BMT KAUM

EELISA, the European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance (EELISA) is a European University Association bringing together 9 engineering higher education institutions in Europe, representing 180,000 students, 50,000 graduates, 16,000 faculty members and 11,000 administrative staff.

It consists of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics from Hungary, the Polytechnic University of Bucharest from Romania, the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from Germany and the major French graduate engineering schools Chimie ParisTech, École des Ponts et Chaussées ParisTech, ENSTA ParisTech and Mines ParisTech and is a partner organization of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE).

Embracing the ambition of transformation in the European Higher Education Area, EELISA aims to provide its students with intercultural and professional experience in research and innovation, and to achieve recognition of learning outcomes through different means. EELISA's approach is strengthened by exploring topics such as European citizenship, social awareness, soft skills and entrepreneurship education. ITU Center for Research on Women in Science Engineering and Technology contributes to the EELISA - European Engineering Program.
