We Visited ITU's First Female Rector Prof. Dr. Gülsün Sağlamer
We visited Prof. Dr. Gülsün Sağlamer, the first and currently the only female rector of Istanbul Technical University, as well as the founder and first director of ITU Research and Application Center for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology
Prof. Dr. Gülsün Sağlamer provided us with guiding suggestions on representing women academics and students more strongly, developing effective projects in the field of gender equality and increasing the participation of women in academia. Her knowledge and experiences are of great value to us in terms of guiding the work of our center.
We thank our professor for this valuable meeting and we continue our works on the path she paved.
