As the ITU Women's Studies Center in Science, Engineering and Technology, we participated in the March 8 International Women's Day “The Power of Women in Earth Sciences” Event organized by the ITU Faculty of Mines.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Faculty of Mines organized a special event highlighting the importance of women in earth sciences within the scope of March 8, 2025 International Women's Day. Bringing together academicians, sector professionals, and students, this conference aimed to strengthen the achievements and positions of women working in the fields of mining and engineering by sharing their career stories. 

We thank our Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kumral and the organizing committee for this special event and the precious gifts they presented to us, and our Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal for the congratulations and carnations he presented to each of us.
